50th Anniversary Weekend Events

It's Eastview's 50th Anniversary!

This isn't just any old party. It's the BIG 5-0! In honour of our beloved school turning 50 years young, in the same year our beloved nation turns 150 years-old, we are throwing an extended party.

Events will take place over the weekend of May 12th to May 13th, with many awesome, exciting, nostalgia-wrapped, activities and displays all can enjoy.

If you are any Eastview student, alumni, past or present teacher/staff, or just someone who likes to have fun and crash parties, we have events for all.

No need to register, all are welcome! There is a small cost to attend the Saturday night celebration dance. Tickets are available on line here or pay at the door. See you there WILDCATS!

Friday, May 12th, 2017

3:30pm - 5:30 pm Rugby "touch" game, followed by reception at the Queen's/ contact paullemmon3@gmailcom

5:00pm – 6:30pm Welcome to Alumni teachers/staff, refreshments – Library

6:30pm – 7:30pm Opening ceremony; choir, orchestra, dance and drama performances - cafeteria

7:30pm – 9:30pm Eastview Alumni coffee house - cafeteria stage

7:30pm – 9:30pm Decade memorabilia, a walk through the ages – cafeteria

6:00pm – 9:30pm Alumni BASKETBALL - Front gym

7:00pm - 8:00pm - Old Schoolers from 1967-1985
8:00pm - 9:00pm - Generation X'ers from 1986-2000

9:00pm - 10:00pm - Millennials from 2001-2017

12:00pm – 5:00pm Decade memorabilia, a walk through the ages - cafeteria

11:30pm – 2:00pm Barbecue lunch – Outside of cafeteria by portables.

2:00pm - 5:00pm Alumni Coffee House Performances - depending on interest

10:00 am shot gun Deadline to enter Alumni GOLF has been extended to THURSDAY,

Shanty Bay Golf, 4 ball scramble, $75 = golf, cart, lunch, prizes

7:00pm – 1:00am Eastview Alumni 50th Celebration (supported by Barrie Huronia Rotary)

Dance & live music: Sonic Coalition & Fishhead - Eastview Arena,

Only cost is for dance Tickets that are available on-line or at the door.

*** WILDCAT memorabilia is being collected, catalogued, and safely stored for display by the ESS English department.

If you have any ESS uniforms (choir, orchestra, cheerleading), jerseys, pics, or anything else that may bring back

the good 'ol days, please drop it off at the front office, addressed to the English department. They will make sure

all the alumni get to enjoy it and return it to you safely after Saturday celebration.
